Embody Your Now

An exploration of movement, mindfulness, and philosophical inquiry rooted in the research and practices of David Moll and Caroline Dunham. As both feeling-based and science-informed practitioners, we weave playful, investigative, and intelligent movement into our teaching.
We approach our work from the foundational belief that you are already doing it right. Through exploration and fresh perspectives, we guide you toward subtle physical awareness that awakens new possibilities within you. Through yoga postures, somatic patterns, and functional movement, we create space for discovery that is both precise and spacious, informed and intuitive.
When you truly inhabit your body with presence and curiosity, transformation happens naturally. We're here to support your journey.
I have enjoyed a lifetime exploring the relationship between consciousness, motion, and attention. When I was a young boy I became fascinated by the function of my own body, especially in regards to how everything seemed connected; physically and mentally. During this same period I began to explore my consciousness through lucid dreaming, and then became curious about using my attention to affect my physiological functions. This shaped my belief that the body is vast and capable of magnificent potential, and through the mind our world is created. This early passion developed into a lifelong career in bodywork, Pilates, and functional movement in service for those interested in experiencing the range of wellbeing they are capable of.

I've had the great fortune throughout my career to study with masters in the fields of functional movement, bodywork, and psychology. These experiences have deepened my understanding of human potential and how unique it is. I'm excited to have fun with you in the studio, small groups, and one-on-one sessions.
Sessions with me are playful, diverse and investigative, with an overarching emphasis on core stability and efficiently functional movements.

My relationship with movement began in childhood, practicing yoga with my family at home and at the local YMCA. After earning a Chemical Engineering degree from Cornell University, I spent ten years managing and teaching at Vista Yoga in Atlanta. There I immersed myself in learning from a diverse group of teachers and practitioners. I also completed my advanced training with Prajna Yoga in Santa Fe during this time.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Thai Massage Practitioner, and poet, I bring both technical knowledge and intuitive understanding to my work. Through years of practice, I've witnessed how small shifts in awareness can create profound changes in how people experience their bodies and move through the world.
My classes blend therapeutic bodywork principles with mindful movement, emphasizing alignment, activation, and self-discovery. I approach each session with curiosity and care, meeting students exactly where they are while inviting them to explore new possibilities.
Off the mat, I find joy in creating, painting, sewing, writing, reading, cooking, baking, dancing, and philosophizing.
